"Irish Stew a la Manny"
| If I drive through a foreign Country , so I am very interested to discover the cuisine about this land. The Anglo-Irish Cuisine is not so much tasteful. So you have to look for finding a meal, which brings also satisfaction to our spoilt palate. |
| After a long day, perhaps You have made a hike or You have been fishing, it is gut for You to eat an Irish Stew. Stew is also popular in Germany and easy to cook. |

Here the recipe for "Irish Stew" a la Manny
for 6 Person Ingredienz: 1 Kilo meat from the sheep
½ ball white cabbage
750 Grams potatoes
500 Grams carrots
250 - 300 Grams onions
5 clove of garlic
beef tea
caraway
salt, pepper, oil
Guinness (if available)
Instructions:
Make small cubs with from onions, give oil in a big pot,
heat the oil, give cubs from onions inside, wait for a few minutes, chop down the garlic
and give it in addition, peel the potatoes and make big cubs from potatoes and sheep-meat.
Bring the meat it in the pot, spice with salt and pepper, make strips from the cabbage,
cabbage over the meat, spice it with caraway, one layer after the last, cabbage and caraway.
Now give big cubs from potatoes and cubs from carrots above, fill the pot with 1 liter beef tea.
In the past, the "Stews baptism"now.
Fill ½ Pint Guinness over that all or you also can do it with a swig good whiskey.
Now you have to cook it with middle heat until 1 and 1 ½ hour.
The meal has to bee served very hot. ![]()
